Wall Planter Fail

I saw someone make one of these wall planters on Instagram and wanted to see if I could make one for myself. I don’t do slab work that often but I thought this would be an easy project to try it with. If you check out the pictures here I actually got it to turn out pretty good. My main mistake was leaving the fan on it. I was going to take the fan off when I went back to work from my lunch break and I forgot. Since it dried really fast it ended up cracking pretty badly. There was no recovering it. Had I not left the fan on it though I think it would have came out looking really good. I may make more of these in future.
